The October 13th event was planned and executed by the NYC Metro Region Design Committee and sponsored by Jacobs. Three key speakers – Eduardo del Valle, NYCDDC Acting Commissioner; Beverly Prior,  AECOM Program Manager; and Peter Sukalo, Tutor Perini Project Executive – presented on DDC’s borough-base jail (BBJ) program – the largest design-build program in progress in the NYC Metro area, with more focus on the Brooklyn facility. After a quick introduction by moderator Hamid Fallah from Langan, the speakers presented for one hour, followed by a half hour Q&A and concluding remarks. The audience provided positive feedback and called it a very interesting and informative event.
