The DBIA NYC Metro Region nurtures professional development and builds early career confidence for the next generation. Industry leaders and expert resources share knowledge and insights, tools and best practices, and industry forecasts with practitioners and students. Through DBIA engagements, students find leadership, build connections and expand their network and knowledge base.
Students are encouraged to join or establish a local student chapter at their school. Student Chapters help facilitate working closely with DBIA national and regions to gain a competitive advantage and foster interdisciplinary education within the university. Members of a Student Chapter are automatically members of DBIA National for free.
Engage in student volunteer programs at conferences, participate in an annual Career Expo and Mixer with on-the-spot interviews with leading firms, and gain exposure to industry leaders and projects that exemplify Design-Build Done Right®.
