Regional Coordination Committee

Owners’ Committee

Contractors’ & Specialist Subcontractors Committee
This committee focuses on the unique needs of contractors and subcontractors in design-build projects. It fosters collaboration, shares industry trends, and provides resources to enhance efficiency, innovation, and project success.
Designers (Architects & Engineers) Committee
This committee represents architects and engineers, promoting interdisciplinary collaboration and best practices in design-build project delivery. It provides education and networking opportunities to strengthen the role of designers in integrated teams.
Small Business Engagement and Growth Committee
This committee supports the participation and growth of small and disadvantaged businesses in design-build projects. It connects businesses with opportunities, fosters mentorship, and advocates for inclusive procurement strategies.
Students & Next Gen Committee
This committee nurtures the next generation of design-build leaders by expanding engagement with students and academic institutions. It supports DBIA student chapters, promotes the integration of DBIA curriculum in higher education, and conducts outreach to trade schools.
Law & Legislation Committee
This committee tracks legal and legislative developments affecting design-build project delivery. It works to expand legislative authority, provide expert insights on policy changes, and support the drafting of legislation, comments, or testimony.
Membership & Sponsorship Committee
This committee drives DBIA NYC Metro’s growth through targeted membership outreach and engagement strategies. It strengthens member value, enhances sponsorship opportunities, and builds lasting relationships with industry stakeholders.
Education & Events Committee
This committee ensures the continued evolution of Design-Build Done Right® by overseeing DBIA’s educational offerings. It develops new tools, resources, and training to enhance design-build knowledge and project success.
Annual Regional Conference Committee
This committee plans and executes DBIA NYC Metro’s premier annual conference, curating an agenda of educational sessions, networking events, and thought leadership opportunities to engage a diverse group of participants.
Finance & Accounts Committee
This committee oversees financial management and ensures fiscal responsibility for DBIA NYC Metro. It develops budgets, monitors expenditures, and provides financial guidance to support the region’s strategic goals.
Annual Elections Committee
Chaired by the Immediate Past President, this committee identifies and evaluates qualified candidates for DBIA NYC Metro’s Board of Directors, ensuring strong leadership and continuity within the organization.
