Alternative Delivery Method Selection for Owners and Owner’s Representatives — A CMAA & DBIA Collaborative Discourse
Alternative delivery methods (ADMs) such as Design-Bid-Build, Design-Build, Construction Manager at Risk and Public-Private Partnerships are transforming project lifecycle and delivery for public and private Owners. This panel discussion will provide a strategic overview of commonly used ADMs, covering their definitions and conducting a SWOT analysis to dissect the pros and cons of each approach, and applicability for various project types, environments and clients.
The conversation aims to drill down into identifying the key decision drivers influencing ADM selection, procurement strategies and critical risk management decisions as well.
The diversly experienced panelists of public and private Owners and Owners representatives, will share experiences, lessons learned and challenges. The session will also underscore the critical importance of professional credentialing, such as CCM and DBIA, ensuring experienced agency and advisory initiation, planning and execution and support to Owners for successful project delivery within this evolving landscape of alternative project delivery.
