ABOUT THE EVENT

The DBIA NYC Metro Region NextGen Committee invites students and emerging professionals to an exclusive session focused on the Hudson Tunnel Project. This event is specifically hosted for our NextGen community (ages 35 and younger) to connect with industry leaders and peers on one of the most significant infrastructure projects in the United States.

This particular session will highlight the Manhattan Tunnel Project, a complex segment involving tunneling under the Westside Highway and the construction of a critical access shaft at 12th Avenue. Participants will explore how the Design-Build project delivery method is being applied to this megaproject to accelerate schedules and manage risks in a dense urban environment. Industry professionals working directly on the project will share insights into procurement strategies, risk allocation, and the collaborative processes that define successful Design-Build projects.
