Authorization of Progressive Design-Build for federal military projects was recently passed into law as part of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA). This marks a significant advance in modernizing federal project delivery. At this time, the provision does not cover federal civil projects, but DBIA’s Federal Markets Committee is actively working on strategies to expand this authority.
